Opened November 18, 2016, the New McAllen Performing Arts Center will present a wide variety of nationally recognized productions of music, dance and theater to the people of South Texas.  The City of McAllen is committed to enhancing the arts and cultural experience by delivering the most advanced performing arts center south of San Antonio by bringing a broader variety of entertainment and live performance that has never been possible before in South Texas.

The $45 million, 94,000 square-foot project consist of a four-story tower with roof top terrace overlooking Oval Park and the McAllen Convention Center, adjustable acoustics to accommodate popular music to symphonic orchestra and a hydraulic stage and orchestra lift allowing for height variations.

Texas Air Products provided Climate Craft custom air handling equipment, Vibro-Acoustics acoustical sound attenuating devices, Titus air distribution products, Ruskin life safety system and Loren Cook ventilation fans.
