David Payne Joins TAP’s Austin Sales Team

We are excited to announce that David Payne joined TAP as an Outside Sales Rep in our Austin location beginning on Monday, April 1, 2020. David has long history in the HVAC industry beginning when he was just 15 years old installing HVAC systems in houses. At 17 years old, he started doing light commercial contracting installing rooftop units on buildings. While he was in college, David worked for California Hydronics Corporation in multiple roles, including Customer Service Rep, Lead Estimator and in hydronic sales as a Sales Engineer. Afterwards, he spent several years as a Sales Manager working for Oslin Nation Co., a plan/spec and design build contractor in the hydronic and plumbing markets. He most recently worked for Victaulic as a Territory Sales Manager.

David has a Bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University. He has certifications in chiller design and pump applications. David is a member of both ASHRAE and ASPE.
