Texas Air Products (TAP) was founded by Gordon Ross of Austin, Texas in 1983, with locations in Austin and San Antonio. In the early years the company was primarily known for air distribution and ventilation products.
In 1989 Robert Stinson, P.E. was hired as an outside sales representative for the San Antonio office and soon grew into a leadership capacity with TAP; Robert Stinson purchased the company in 2002 and has served as President since.
As the company continued to grow, adding more lines of product it expanded its operations to the Rio Grande Valley in 1998 opening up an office in Weslaco, Texas.
Texas Air Products is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas with branch offices in Austin, Corpus Christi and McAllen. The company is South Texas’ leading manufacturer representative for premier HVAC and Architectural commercial and industrial products.
Today, Texas Air Products has evolved into a one stop shop, full service company. TAP represents over thirty manufacturers, delivering solutions to all commercial and industrial applications.
